"The realization that the day had finally arrived was just settling in, and with it an unexpected wave of calm mixed with fully expected excitement that I would be spending the rest of my life with the most incredible woman in the world. Those exact feelings were captured in this photo perfectly."

"Between laughing and dancing and whispering the secrets of love, Matt encouraged us to be ourselves. We were able to completely enjoy each other while he worked his magic: in our shadows, above our heads, always at a safe distance that allowed us to do our thing."

"Looking at these photographs still brings us right back to the moment they were taken. The excitement and all the emotions of that day are renewed. This picture in particular stands out not only because it is a beautifully composed photo but also because we had driven past that library many times and had never seen it that way. Never thought we'd have some of our favorite wedding day moments take place there. This was certainly one of the rare quiet times we were fortunate to have. Just the two of us sharing a sweet kiss. Our wedding photos not only mean the world to us, but also continue to amaze anyone who sees them in our home or in Michael's office. Friends always comment how special and unique they are and being lucky enough to know someone as talented as Matt made all the difference."

"I remember feeling so at peace and completely content during our photo session prior to the wedding. Knowing that the woman that makes me a better man was moments away from sharing a life long commitment with me had a surreal calming effect. When I see this picture now, I still feel the fulfillment I felt that day and will continue to feel. I married the person that is my shelter and my serenity. "

"Matt captured the amazing light in Santa Fe by getting us to hike up no fewer than three plateaus of the nearby hills outside of town. Dirt covering the heels of my bridal shoes was a small price to pay to have our day photographed exactly how we wanted to remember it."

"This is a picture of Nichole Hanna, the high priestess of tribal belly dance in Nashville, she is a a Goddess among women and it's not surprising at all that she has a glowing orb above her head as she captures the audience at our wedding with her dynamic movement!  I just feel really proud to be her friend when I see that image."

"Everyone always says that the key ingredient to a happy, successful marriage is love; after all, isn’t that what The Beatles say? However, Steven and I agree that while you do need to love each other unconditionally, you’ve got to be able to laugh together! Every time Steven and I look at this photo of our wedding day, we are reminded just how important it is to have fun together, relax, and enjoy life."

It was a nightmare. We chose to have a new much more beautiful, relaxed day planned, really just focusing on me and liam. I took our origional woodsy idea and really got down to the core of it..."

To me this image sums up every day we live together since our wedding day."

LEFT:  "I gave all of the bridesmaids 'Brooklyn Hearted' bags as a gift, as an homage to our beloved borough where we got married. One of my best friends/bridesmaids Allison had recently found out she was pregnant - in fact, her beautiful bridesmaid dress barely zipped up the day of the wedding LOL! She loved receiving this bag b/c it gave her a chance to hide her stomach in some of the pictures. I love her huge, beautiful smile in this photo, which is slyly hiding her pregnancy but also demonstrates her utter joy at her pregnancy, while emanating her joy at being a part of our special day. Love love love this picture!!!!"

"I do love the way this moment was captured.  This was right when the balloons were "released" onto the dance floor, so it was a fun addition to the music and dancing.  I remember grabbing the balloon randomly as I decided to dance with my new bride and have the balloon accompany us - I didn't realize at the time I dropped the balloon down to her face for a magically / fun photo opp. Also, love my family in the background and seeing the happy reactions to the best party I've ever been to!!!"

We stopped and saw the mariachi in the corridor and they started playing a little tune, so we started dancing. This was the happiest day of our lives, and I think that the smiles on our faces demonstrate that."

"When we see this photo, a lot of thoughts and memories come to mind. 1.) The garter on one of the groomsmen's  arm (we are pretty sure he's caught one at every one of his best friends' weddings. He used to keep them around the gear shift in his car....which is gross...and creepy). 2) Zi, our favorite Chinese usher, looks genuinely terrified. He probable thinks Rob is having a heart attack and that he is the only one with enough intelligence to address the situation. 3) The older gentlemen is the back is definitely a disapproving elder. We knew immediately when we saw his pulsating, strong hips and sensual dance moves, that we had made the greatest decision to have Rob as a groomsmen. The fact that his sexual energy was so pervasive that it made a little Chinese boy behind him start to cry only made us realize what a sexual dynamo our guest was. Yes, Rob Shapiro was one of the highlights of our wedding day!"

No better way to end the night of our union then dancing under the stars behind a house that we shared with all of our family (half of them flew in from Italy!) and closest friends. Hearing Madonna echo throughout the woods while everyone got loose was the BEST!"
