"We remember thinking - We love this venue so much because it is on the beach but we definitely don't want pictures of the beach. This is a great example of how our pics painted just enough seaside without it looking like a beach wedding."

"Am I the only one who thinks this is the best photo in the history of the world? These are our friends, they are people who have dance parties on hay bales, this is why they are our friends. This photo is blown up in our dining room and makes us smile every single time we see it. People who weren't even there have actually asked for copies of it for their own homes. I love the way David appears to be dodging a UFO! Absolute perfection, I wish I was there now."

"We  were keen to create a wedding that had our aesthetic stamped all over it so we provided all the visual direction for the decor ourselves. The vintage test tube rack idea to hold flowers was something we knew we wanted to use from our own home. The glass bottles used as center pieces on the tables were all found objects from our own backyard. We have been renovating our home for a number of years, and it’s been a huge part of our lives during that time.”

"The first thing we think of when we see this photo is... damn we look good! Our reception was the most fun dance party you've ever been to. And its always a sight to see my husband on the dance floor since he's been dubbed the "White James Brown" ever since our friends wedding in 2009."

During our dinner, it stopped for a few minutes and I remember Matt pulling us from the reception because he found an amazing shot..it was nice to have a couple minutes with just me and Q, and the picture didn't turn out half bad either!"

"We grew up on a steady diet of punk shows so I can't say this is the first time this has happened, and I can't say it will be the last.. maybe a first at a wedding. On a side note, Q was wise to spend some time and thought when picking out his socks. They look great!"

"It was the perfect day. We decided to take our wedding portraits before the ceremony, so we could have alone time to soak in the moment before being bombarded with our families and guests. We were so relaxed and so utterly happy to be getting married to each other. The backdrop of Manhattan while we smooch on the Brooklyn side of NYC is so perfect, b/c I started out as a "Manhattan girl" when I moved here eight years ago, never thinking I'd end up dating a Chicago-turned-"Brooklyn guy," then living in Brooklyn, and much less getting married in Brooklyn. So it all felt very full-circle. And I still LOVE Manhattan but have accepted that you can live in BK and still love Manhattan. I also love my veil flying in the wind - it is my mother's veil that she married my father in and I LOVED wearing it. I felt like I had good luck going into my marriage, having that beautiful, love-infused veil on my head. My older sister wore it when she married her husband, and my little sister will wear it when she gets married. I don't remember giving Pat my bouquet, but he seemed quite the natural holding it in the picture LOL! It was a romantic kiss and a romantic, wonderful part of our wedding day."

"It was very important for us to secure this beautiful location for our special day: St. Vincent's School for Boys. When I first saw this place years ago, I knew that I wanted to get married here. One of the most impressive sights at this venue is the row of eucalyptus trees that line each side of the driveway, and it served as the perfect backdrop for these lovely pictures."

Even though it was 200 percent humidity, threatening to pour and only an hour before the wedding was about to start nothing mattered but that field and that man (and the man rolling around in the field with a camera). Not only is the lifestyle and community of Byron Bay and its surrounds truly unique but the landscape too! "I LOVED my wedding dress and I love how the accents of the dress truly popped against the backdrop of this wood paneling in a brownstone that was recently renovated on our street. I love the ivory against the wood - and the sunlight. I got married on the HOTTEST day of the year in NYC and the light in this picture captures that hot, sweaty but PERFECT day. I love the hanger, which if you look closely, spells out my soon-to-be married name, Mrs. Griffith. I love the shape of the dress, because it reminds me of how hard I worked out during my 11-month engagement to be able to fit into my beloved dress."

"My father and I chose to dance to Frank Sinatra's 'New York, New York' as our wedding father-daughter dance/song. Of my immediate family, my father and I have ALWAYS been the two who were obsessed with NYC. I've wanted to live here since I was barely out of diapers - and my father shares that love for this magical city to this day, despite him never having lived here. We are also both DIE HARD Yankees fans - and, as all Yankees fans know, they play 'New York, New York' at the end of every, single home game. So, dancing to this song with my father is one of the greatest moments of my life - b/c it was an homage to both our favorite city in the world and our favorite sports team in the world. We were SO blissed out in that moment, just screaming the lyrics at the top of our lungs, relishing the moment - and during that whole day of my wedding. My father was so proud of me and Pat; so happy that I found the love of my life in NYC. It was such a special night - and such a perfect father-daughter wedding song for me and my old man. Gives me happy chills thinking about it. "
